Teddy bears picnic party
Planning this super cute Teddy bears picnic party for Olivia’s 4th birthday, was really fun. Olivia is a real girly girl who loves to play and have a great time with her friends, but also loves to participate in creative activities. Party Mums wanted to create a party that included all Olivia’s interests, so a bouncy castle was arranged to entertain the party guests on arrival, allowing ample time for high jumps, silly dances and plenty of giggles! Following the energetic bouncing session, guests were invited by Olivia to come and collect a bear skin to stuff and take home as her gift. The guests enjoyed filling their bears with soft stuffing and a heart and decorating a t-shirt for them to wear. Olivia enjoyed distributing the bears and generally taking care of her guests, a real host. Aww.
Once the activities were complete, guests were invited to enjoy some refreshments in another party room. Party Mums created a beautiful soft and floaty backdrop complete with pastel pin wheels. A main table with rabbits, toadstools, wooden log slice platters and a cake stand for the gorgeous birthday cake. Mini tables for guests decorated with party balloons, gingham check table cloths and personalised gable boxes, containing the perfect picnic platter and mini milk bottles with pastel paper straws, made this party look like a scene from a fairy tale. Adult guests were treated to a delicious cold buffet and hot drinks too! I think we know where Olivia gets her hosting skills from!
A final bounce on the castle and it was almost time for guests to leave the party, but not before Olivia had given each guest a mini picnic basket filled with chocolate hearts. It seems if you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise!
