Vintage baby shower.

Vintage baby shower.

Baby showers are a great chance to have one last final get together with all your besties, before your little one arrives. Sure you will all still meet up after baby arrives, but as we all know it takes a little while for life to get back to normal and settle down.

This baby shower had a lovely vintage feel to it, with a classic afternoon tea menu. Tea was served from vintage china teapots on a wooden drinks trolley and an assortment of china cups and saucers were placed on the main table, ready to be filled. Sweet treats included cake pops decorated in soft tones of blue and cupcakes with little blue booties on top placed on individual cake stands, looked super cute. Classic vest shaped cookies, decorated in white with silver edging almost looked too good to eat!

Little touches here and there added to the vintage feel. A lovely wooden dolls house with lights inside and wooden letters spelling "baby" displayed on the roof looked really sweet on the main table. A glass jar with the little mans first pair of Dr Martens inside was just so adorable and a display board with the words "time for tea with the Mummy to be".

A backdrop with soft white curtains, a string of bibs and metallic letters spelling "Baby Shower" was the perfect spot for photo opportunities and a last chance to photo the Mummy to be before baby arrives.

A lovely afternoon was had by all with plenty of tea and advice on motherhood shared around.
